Local Attractions

There are four attractive lakes in the gmina (commune). Choczewskie Lake, with class 1 water quality and a peer to dive from, nestles quaintly amidst forests. Famous for its abundance of fish, Kopalinskie Lake is ideal for anglers. Sarbskie Lake with Habenda Windsurfing School and Zarnowieckie Lake where you can go canoeing.

The indisputable number 1 attraction is quiet and beautiful Stilo Beach – it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach through the forest or, alternatively, you can use a bicycle lane or take a britzka. The beach is wide with fine, light sand. With no toy or kebab stalls nearby it is far from being touristy. You can really relax here! It is said to be the last lonely beach on the Polish coast of the Baltic Sea.

Stilo Lighthouse – The lighthouse tower is located at the top of a sand dune with a spectacular vista of the sea, about 1000m from the coastline. You will be warmly welcomed there by a real lighthouse keeper. On the first floor, you will find a painting exhibition. At night, you can see the beam of light from Rozewie lighthouse.

Eating Places – There are three restaurants in Sasino, where you can enjoy delectable homemade meals. Ewa Zaprasza, the fourth one, is- according to some rankings- the best restaurant in Poland to serve Polish cuisine.

Bicycle and Canoeing Routes – We have plenty of routes which are perfect for a trip with your family and/or friends. A picturesque 31-kilometre long route runs around Sarbskie Lake. In addition, the Chelst River, which flows through the lake to flow into the Leba River later on, makes an interesting canoeing route. You can also go canoeing on Zarnowieckie Lake or paddle your canoe along still waters of the Piasnica River straight to the sea.

Horse riding – The stables of Jackowo Home Farm offer, both during and off season, horse riding lessons and outings on horseback as well as britzka rides in Sasino.

Ostrich Farm, Kniewo (28km) – A great place for a family trip. You can see enormous blown ostrich eggs, try ostrich meat or get an ostrich egg that is big enough to make indecently large servings of scrambled eggs for the whole family.

Sarbsk Seapark – 4 km from us, the biggest seal centre in Poland on 5 hectares and with 4 species of sea animals to watch. Their shows with Californian sea lions are world class ones.

Dinosaur Park, Ropes Course, Paintball, Maze – Leba (15km) has got plenty of attractions for families with kids as well as those who pursue active leisure activities. Everyone will find something for himself or herself.

Ciekocinko Hotel Resort & Wellness – Within only 5-kilometre distance from us, you can find a unique 100-year-old 5-star boutique hotel, where you can enjoy a delicious romantic dinner, relax in a Day-Spa or visit the stables, where Baltica-Tour international equestrian competition is held twice a year.

Shifting Sand Dunes – Some of the sand dunes are in the Sarbska Sandbar Nature Reserve only 2.5 km from us. The most spectacular ones, though, can be seen in Slowinski National Park, Leba, which was established to preserve in an unchanged form the unique and beautiful system of coastal lakes which once were bays.

Habenda Windsurfing School, Sarbsk – The lake water level is only 1 metre in many places. With the depth so small and the surface area so large, the lake is a perfect place to learn windsurfing.

Corn Maze – The village of Swarzewo invites you to join in the fun in a family park with a 3-metre high maze spreading over 3 hectares . There are some other attractions like UFO or monster trucks as well.
